Steel buildings can easily fall into the inclusion of the category “green buildings”. By design, all reputable steel building manufacturers and suppliers use pre-engineering to minimize waste and reduce raw material use. Today, steel in new buildings is made up largely of recycled or salvaged products. Steel is a 100% recyclable material. Steel buildings have a long life cycle, and the durability and appearance lasts for many years. Finally, stel buildings that are fully insulated are some of the most energy efficient structures that are in use today.
